I'm walking to support my mother who has been affected by cancer
I'm fundraising to support the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre Trust Fund. Regional people deserve the very best in treatment and care, just like people in capital cities.
Every cent I raise will stay in our region to help local people impacted by cancer. People going through the cancer journey should be able to do it close to home, where they can be supported by their family, friends and communities.
The funds we raise through the Sunshine Walk will help pay for new equipment for earlier diagnosis and treatment. It will pay for staff training, so the local workforce can stay up to date with the rapidly changing world of cancer treatment. It will be invested in research, providing local people access to national drug trials, and it will support wellness services, like psychology, exercise programs and support groups.
Everyone in our community knows someone affected by cancer, so let's come together to support this vital local service. Every dollar counts!

Sunday 10th Nov Wow thanks you everyone for your generosity. Such an emotional 🥲 and inspiring time ❤️❤️ ShareWalk 🚶♂️
Friday 8th NovWe have had a four year lung cancer journey with my Mum which has given us 4 years longer than we could have imagined. It would not have been possible without the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre. So, Luggy and I are hanging up the bikes for a day to put our sneakers 👟 on and raise some money 💰 for this amazing team 😁.
On Sunday, November 10 we will be taking part in the Sunshine Walk 2024 where all money raised stays local to help families in our region impacted by cancer. The money we raise will be invested in new facilities, services and research at the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre. This will mean that more people in our regional community will be able to get the world-class treatment and the care that they deserve.
