Sunshine Ride

I'm riding to support local families impacted by cancer

Like so many others in our community — and closer to home among my family and friends — I have been affected by cancer. That’s why I’m taking part in the Sunshine Ride on March 13 and 14, 2026. With the Hume Bank team, I’ll be riding an exercise bike continuously for 24 hours to support local people impacted by cancer.

The pain and fatigue we’ll feel over those 24 hours offer only a small snapshot of what patients and their families may experience throughout their cancer journey.

Any money we can raise to help ease that journey will be more than worth the effort.

All funds raised through the Sunshine Ride stay right here in our region, supporting new facilities, services and research at the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre. This means more people in our community can access the cancer treatment and support they need, close to home and surrounded by family and friends.

Please consider making a donation of any amount — every dollar truly counts. Thank you for your support.

So proud of you for taking on the Sunshine Ride for Cancer challenge. Every kilometre you ride is going to make a difference for families affected by cancer. Keep pedalling because this bike doesn’t have a motor 😂
