What is the Sunshine Ride?
The Sunshine Ride is a 24-hour stationary bike ride that raises money and awareness for the Sunshine Trust.
Gyms, sporting groups and businesses from across the region are encouraged to put together a team and take turns riding on an exercise bike at a location of your choice from 6pm on Friday, March 13 to 6pm on Saturday, March 14. You can have as many team members as you like, and as many bikes!
A fundraising page will be automatically generated when you register, which you can share with your family and friends to help you get started.
Organised by a volunteer committee, the Sunshine Ride was held for the first time in May, 2021 at Adrenaline Boxing and Conditioning, Albury and raised $$512,619.
Teams from Albury and Wodonga joined in the event last year and helped raise more than $151,400!
Money raised goes towards new facilities, services and research in the Albury Wodonga Region through the Sunshine Trust and this year 20% of money rasied will be supporting the Albury Wodonga Cancer Founation.
