What is the Sunshine Walk?

The Sunshine Walk brings people together to raise vital funds and awareness for the Sunshine Trust. More than just a walk, it's an opportunity to connect with family, friends, and the wider community while supporting an important cause.

This non-competitive event celebrates the strength of cancer survivors, honours the dedication of carers and supporters, and remembers the loved ones we have lost. Whether you walk to show support, share a personal journey, or simply enjoy being part of the community, every step makes a difference.

Participants can choose to join one of our community events, starting and finishing at Hovell Tree Park Albury, or Corowa, or take part as a DIY participant by walking at a location of their choice.

Albury Walk Distances
  • 20km Walk
  • 10km Walk
  • Blue 5km Walk
  • Pink 5km Walk

For those travelling from surrounding towns and regional communities, the DIY option offers the flexibility to gather family, friends, or colleagues and take part closer to home. It’s a fantastic way to encourage your whole community to get involved while still supporting the Sunshine Walk.

Those joining us for the main event will experience some of the most scenic and popular walking paths across Albury and Wodonga. Participants taking on the 20km Walk will pass the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre, a powerful symbol of hope and resilience for cancer patients and their families throughout our region.

No matter where you walk, you'll be helping to make a meaningful difference in the lives of local people affected by cancer.
