In 2025, the Corowa & District community came together in a beautiful show of unity, creating their own “walk closer to home.” As they walked through the streets of Corowa, they raised an incredible $13,835 in support of local cancer services. This support that will make a real and lasting difference for people in their own community.

With an amazing total of $6,055 raised, this achievement carries deep meaning. Fundraised by Gale Oates in 2025, this effort was a heartfelt tribute to Mal’s legacy, truely honouring his memory in a way that truly reflects the impact he had on those around him.
Wild Oates | Family & Friends Cup Winner
Raising a remarkable $16,667, the Wild Oates team demonstrated the true power of community and togetherness. Gale and her incredible network came together in a deeply moving show of support, paying tribute to the late Mal Oates with an inspiring and unforgettable effort at our 2025 Sunshine Walk. We are so grateful to each and every one of you.

Hotspurs | Sports Club Cup Winners
Raising an impressive $4,764, the Hotspurs team has shown what can be achieved through strong collaboration and a shared commitment to a good cause. Their effort reflects the dedication of everyone involved across the club.
In acknowledgement of their achievement, the team has received a $600 from SportsPower Albury voucher, a well-deserved reward for their collective effort.
