Sunshine Walk Champions & Sponsors

Introducing Jane Mackinlay, your 2025 Sunshine Walk Champion!

We are thrilled to introduce to your 2025 Sunshine Walk Champion, Jane Mackinlay.  Jane brings to the event incredibly energy and passion and we are incredibly grateful to Jane for supporting our signature event.

Having undergone her own treatment right here at the Cancer Centre, Jane understands first-hand how crucial it is to have high-quality cancer services close to home. For Jane, being able to stay at home, continue to work and take part in her everyday activities, whilst undergoing treatment was critical to her wellbeing.

Jane is proud to stand up and walk for others as she knows how important local cancer care is and how many lives it touches.

As your Sunshine Walk Champion, Jane will help lead this year’s campaign, inspiring walkers, teams, and donors across the region. Her story is one of strength, gratitude, and community spirit, a perfect reflection of what the Sunshine Walk is all about.

Introducing you to your Sunshine Walk Sponsors

VISION

Back in 2019, VISION Screenprinting printed just 60 shirts for the very first Sunshine Walk. Fast forward to today, they’re now not only printing hundreds, but proudly stepping up as a major sponsor for this year’s event!
For VISION, it’s personal. Both of the owners' parents received treatment at the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre, and staying close to home made all the difference. “It’s a no-brainer for us,  this place means everything to families like ours.”

From T-shirt printers to Pony Hop racers to trusted community partners, VISION has been part of the walk’s story from the beginning, and they’re not stopping anytime soon.

Healthfocus Physiotherapy

For the past seven years, Healthfocus Physiotherapy has stood proudly beside the Sunshine Walk, offering not just sponsorship, but heartfelt support, volunteer hours, and a deep sense of community.

For Simone and the Team at Healthfocus, It’s not just writing a cheque and walking away. It’s rallying the team, being present, and creating a memorable experience for the community.

Thank you Healthfocus, your generosity makes the event a celebration of life, love and rememberance.

Since the very first Sunshine Walk, Radio 1494 2AY has been right there with us - sharing our stories, celebrating our walkers, and helping to shine a light on the cause we all care about.

From interviewing participants,  board members and staff, to broadcasting live on the day, their energy and dedication brin our event to life for the whole community.
With every story told and every cheer over the airwaves, they inspire more people to join, donate and make a difference.

We are very grateful to their ongoing support, helping us to make a bigger impact than ever before.

Tonkin

This year we welcome a new sponsor to the Sunshine Walk family! Tonkin are known to proudly stand behind causes that directly support the people in our community, and we are thrilled to welcome them onboard. Like many in our community, Tonkin too have felt the impacts of cancer and the devastation it can cause.
Director, Shane Pinner explains why they have patnered with us:

"Our “why” at Tonkin clearly states our need to serve our community, to help it flourish, to help it become stronger, to help it get better every day. Our contribution to our community via the Sunshine Walk is so important. It’s important that all funds stay local, it’s important that they go directly to the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre, it’s important that they go towards helping to provide life-changing care for people we know and care about. It’s important to us and we’re very proud and humbled to play a small role in that."

Every contribution counts, and together we can make a real difference. Thank you Tonkin for joining us!
