What is the Sunshine Ride?
The Sunshine Ride is a 24-hour stationary bike ride that raises money and awareness for the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre Trust Fund.
Gyms, sporting groups and businesses from across the region are encouraged to put together a team and take turns riding on an exercise bike at a location of your choice from 6pm on Friday, March 14 to 6pm on Saturday, March 15. You can have as many team members as you like, and as many bikes!
A fundraising page will be automatically generated when you register, which you can share with your family and friends to help you get started.
Organised by a volunteer committee, the Sunshine Ride was held for the first time in May, 2021 at Adrenaline Boxing and Conditioning, Albury and raised $360,000.
Teams from Albury and Wodonga joined in the event last year and helped raise more than $142,000!
All money raised goes towards new facilities, services and research at the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre.
