Sunshine Walk

I'm walking to support local families impacted by cancer

I'm fundraising to support the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre Trust Fund. Regional people deserve the very best in treatment and care, just like people in capital cities.

Every cent I raise will stay in our region to help local people impacted by cancer. People going through the cancer journey should be able to do it close to home, where they can be supported by their family, friends and communities.

The funds we raise through the Sunshine Walk will help pay for new equipment for earlier diagnosis and treatment. It will pay for staff training, so the local workforce can stay up to date with the rapidly changing world of cancer treatment. It will be invested in research, providing local people access to national drug trials, and it will support wellness services, like psychology, exercise programs and support groups.

Everyone in our community knows someone affected by cancer, so let's come together to support this vital local service. Every dollar counts!

Cancer doesn't stop

Tuesday 21st Sep
This is very close to my heart in October 2020 one of my beautiful friends was diagnosed with Breast cancer and then in April this year my sister in Law was also diagnosed with breast cancer and with the thanks to the medical treatment and support from the Albury Wodonga Regional centre they both have beaten this beast.
Without the centre both ladies would have had to travel to Melbourne for treatment.
I have joined Sunnies squad and will be walking 20km for the Sunshine walk on November 7th alongside family and friends to help raise money for the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer centre
