We're walking for cancer treatment and services
We're fundraising to support Border cancer services. Regional people deserve the very best in treatment and care, just like people in cities.
Every cent we raise will stay locally to help local people. People going through the cancer journey should be able to do it close to home, where they can be supported by their families, friends and communities.
The funds we raise through Sunshine Walk will help pay for new equipment for earlier diagnosis and treatment. It will pay for staff training, so the local workforce can stay up to date with the rapidly changing world of cancer treatment. It will be invested in research, providing local people access to national drug trials, and it will support wellness services, like psychology, exercise programs and support groups.
Everyone in our community knows someone affected by cancer, so let's come together to support this vital local service. Every dollar counts!
