I'm walking in loving memory of my dad, raising funds to support locals in our community also affected by cancer.
I’m fundraising to support the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre Trust Fund because everyone in regional areas deserves the very best treatment and care, just like those in major cities.
Every dollar I raise will stay within our community to help local people impacted by cancer. Those facing the cancer journey should be able to do so close to home, surrounded by the love and support of their families, friends, and communities.
The funds raised through the Sunshine Walk will help purchase new equipment for earlier diagnosis and treatment, fund staff training to keep our local workforce up to date with the latest in cancer care, support vital research and provide local access to national drug trials. Additionally, it will help fund wellness services such as psychology, exercise programs, and support groups.
Cancer affects us all, and many of us know someone who has been impacted. Let’s come together to support this essential local service. Every dollar truly makes a difference!
