About the Event

Cancer affects countless lives—whether directly, through personal battles, or indirectly, as loved ones offer support. Many within our swimming community have been touched by its impact. The Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre provides vital care for patients across our region, including the Ovens & Murray district.

To support this essential service, the Yarrawonga Mulwala Swimming Club, in collaboration with the Ovens and Murray District Swimming Association and local swimming clubs, is proud to host the inaugural Sunshine Swim. All proceeds from this event will go directly to the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre Trust Fund.

How It Works

Anyone who loves to swim can take part! Throughout February, participants are encouraged register, pledge their distance, and to swim at their own pace, in their own style—whether it’s freestyle laps or a leisurely doggy paddle with a floatie!
When registering, we invite you to set a personal swim goal for the month and keep your community up to date on your progress.
Every dollar raised will go toward enhancing cancer services in our region, ensuring patients and families receive the best possible care.

Get Involved

Sign up today, set your swim goal, and spread the word! Share your personal fundraising link with family and friends on social media. Whether through donations or by pledging to swim a set distance, your participation makes a difference.

Join us in making waves for cancer care.
